Question: If you were selling your car, would you get it washed and detailed?
Answer: Yes, of course.
So, why would you not prepare your home for sale? Even in a hot seller's market, a buyer's market, a who have what market?
If I were to sell my house, you better believe that I'm going to clean it, paint it, put some fresh flowers. I'm going to do whatever it takes to make my house look the best because it's my most valuable asset.
Believe it or not, there are some people who think that they don't have to clean their house before selling it. That it is just too much money and too much stress, yet they want top dollar, and they want it sold fast.
It is my firm belief that those of you who are not doubling down on staging, prepping, and making it look all Pinterest perfect, are not get top dollar. I strongly believe that you could get that much more money if you put in that time, effort, and money.
Painting, staging, cleaning, doing some light renovations; it all makes your home look nice. If you want to make money, you have to spend a little bit of money.
